QA Intern (Manual + Automation Testing)

About this internship

PiSyst India Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a detail-oriented QA Intern (Manual + Automation Testing) for its Mundhwa, Pune office — a paid, full-time, 3–6 month on-site internship. You will work closely with developers, designers and product teams to test applications, catch issues early and ensure high-quality releases of real web and mobile products. Day to day, you will design and execute manual test cases, build automation scripts using Selenium, Playwright or similar tools, and perform functional, regression and integration testing. You will report and track bugs in Jira, validate APIs and backend functionality with Postman, collaborate with developers to reproduce and analyse issues, and improve QA documentation and processes — gaining exposure to CI/CD pipelines and QA best practices in a fast-moving startup.

Skills you'll use

What you'll do

• Design and execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications
• Build automation scripts using Selenium, Playwright or similar tools
• Perform functional, regression and integration testing
• Report and track bugs using Jira; validate APIs with Postman

• Improve QA documentation and testing processes

Who can apply

• Strong interest in software testing and quality assurance
• Understanding of SDLC, STLC and testing fundamentals
• Basic knowledge of automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Appium)
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman
• Knowledge of Python, Java or JavaScript for test scripts; Agile/Scrum a plus
