Skills you'll use

What you'll do

• Manage benchmarking shop floor activities and ensure efficient operation of the benchmarking facility.
• Plan and coordinate procurement of newly launched EV and ICE vehicles for benchmarking and competitive analysis.
• Perform complete vehicle dismantling and teardown activities for electric and internal combustion vehicles.
• Develop module-wise understanding of vehicle systems, including powertrain, chassis, body, electronics, interiors, and thermal systems.
• Conduct component inspection and dimensional validation using CMM, 3D scanning, and other metrology equipment.
• Maintain and update inspection records, measurement results, and benchmarking databases in designated systems.
• Support vehicle and component reassembly activities to validate functionality, fitment, and engineering learnings.
• Perform vehicle and component weight measurements, vehicle layout studies, and material identification analysis.
• Conduct vehicle testing and collect data related to driving performance, braking, low-speed, and high-speed evaluations.
• Carry out exterior, interior, and Body-in-White (BIW) scanning activities for benchmarking and reverse engineering studies.
