What you'll do

• Hitachi Energy is looking for a Factory Quality Assurance Specialist for the Business Unit Transformers to join our innovative and forward‑thinking team. In this role, you will ensure consistent product quality by executing rigorous quality assurance processes, addressing non‑conformities, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
• You will oversee quality assurance in assigned projects and orders across production, testing, and delivery, while supporting the Quality Assurance Manager in advanced quality activities. This position offers the opportunity to drive quality excellence in manufacturing, contributing to Hitachi Energy’s vision of delivering smarter and more sustainable energy solutions.

• Execute quality assurance processes throughout the product lifecycle to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory standards.
• Manage product regulatory requirements and customer quality expectations, ensuring clear communication and integration into factory processes.
• Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate product and process quality risks using systematic approaches like Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
• Design and implement standardized processes and quality systems to prevent errors and enhance product quality.
• Lead the investigation and resolution of quality issues through structured problem‑solving and corrective actions.
• Contribute to audits, inspections, and verifications to ensure compliance with customer requirements and regulatory standards.
• Develop and implement control plans to monitor and maintain quality throughout production, driving continuous improvement.
