About this internship

HDFC Bank is hiring a Business Analyst Intern (Data) for its Chennai team — a hands-on Data Analyst internship for 2026 freshers and final-year students (0 years of experience). You will turn raw data into insights for business, building queries, dashboards and reports with SQL, Advanced Excel, Data Analysis alongside senior analysts. Skills you'll use

What you'll do

• Clean, analyse and visualise data for business
• Build dashboards, KPIs and reports using SQL, Advanced Excel, Data Analysis, Power BI
• Translate numbers into clear, actionable business recommendations
• Partner with product, marketing, finance and operations teams on live projects

Who can apply

• Pursuing or recently completed B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc/BCA/B.Com/BBA/MBA (any analytical discipline) or equivalent
• Working knowledge of SQL, Advanced Excel, Data Analysis
• Comfort with spreadsheets, basic statistics and clear data storytelling
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
