Skills you'll use

What you'll do

• Collect, clean and transform raw data so it is accurate, consistent and analysis-ready
• Write and optimise SQL queries to pull data from warehouses and production databases
• Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reports for business and product stakeholders
• Analyse trends, funnels, cohorts and anomalies, and explain what is driving them
• Partner with product, growth, finance and operations teams to answer business questions with data
• Run data-quality checks and validation so reported numbers can be trusted
• Automate repetitive reporting so the team spends time on analysis, not copy-paste
• Present findings clearly through concise decks, notes and visualisations

Who can apply

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science or a related quantitative field
• Graduation year 2025, 2026 or 2027 — final-year students and freshers are welcome
• Strong SQL — joins, aggregations, subqueries and window functions written from scratch
• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets: pivot tables, lookups, conditional logic, charting
• Working knowledge of Python or R for data manipulation (pandas, NumPy)
• Familiarity with a BI tool such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker or Metabase
• Understanding of core statistics — distributions, averages vs medians, correlation, basic hypothesis testing
• Ability to structure an ambiguous business question into a concrete analysis plan
• High attention to detail and a healthy scepticism about data quality
• Clear communication — you can explain a chart to someone who has never seen the data
