What you'll do

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer QA to help deliver high-quality digital experiences across Agilent.com and its connected applications. In this role, you will design and implement scalable automated testing solutions, validate critical product and content experiences, and partner closely with development, product, content, and centralized testing teams to improve release quality, reliability, and speed. You will play a key role in strengthening QA coverage across functional, regression, integration, content functional quality validation, and performance testing while mentoring others and promoting modern quality engineering practices.
• This role currently follows a hybrid work model. Work arrangements may evolve based on future business needs.

Who can apply

• Bachelor’s or master’s Degree or equivalent.
• 6+ years of relevant experience in QA and automation dev.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for full end-to-end automation, including test design, execution, debugging, and maintenance across modern web applications.
• Collaborate with the development team to understand product features and technical specifications to create effective test plans and strategies.
• Perform functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with developers to resolve them.
• Experience writing exceptional test cases in JIRA, Cucumber etc.
• Experience with test automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
• Solid understanding of the AI-assisted software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
• Experience with setting up test automation with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
