What you'll do

• Patent Administrator
• The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
• The Patent Administrator will be part of the Global Legal Service Center (GLSC) and will support the Patents Work Group, which assists 3M to obtain and maintain Patent records across geographies.
• The Patent Administrator will report to the GLSC Patents Work Group lead and work closely with the Office of Intellectual Property team, globally. The Patent Administrator is an experienced Intellectual Property professional with substantive knowledge of Patents frameworks across different geographies.

• To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:
• Possess a bachelor’s degree in law with high academic credentials from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of seven (7) to ten (10) years of experience in IP administrative function.
• IP Management System experience, preferably Anaqua.
• Familiarity with Patent Laws of different geographies.
• Strong analytical, communication, attention to details and project management skills.
• Ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills; ability to establish priorities, balance multiple tasks and deadlines at one time and effectively manage competing priorities.
