Indicative Indian market ranges. Metro and specialist roles sit at the upper end.
The meaningful difference from a Staff Nurse post is independent responsibility, so screen for decisions taken alone rather than tasks performed. Ask about a time they overruled or challenged a junior doctor — good RNs have examples and will describe them calmly.
In practice the titles overlap, but RN posts usually assume a B.Sc qualification, full registration and independent charge of patients or a bay, often with supervisory duties. Pay bands reflect that.
ICU, CCU, OT and NICU postings normally expect relevant experience and often BLS/ACLS. Some hospitals train internally; if you do, say so in the advert, because it widens the pool considerably.

Post the vacancy free and reach candidates who are actively looking. Most employers get their first applications within 24 hours.
