What you'll do

• Test incoming and in-process materials against specification
• Analyse microstructure and confirm heat treatment results
• Investigate material-related failures and report the cause
• Maintain lab equipment, calibration and test records
• Support material selection and supplier approval
• Maintain accurate technical records and traceability for your work
• Follow plant safety, quality and environmental standards at all times
• Escalate issues early and close them with verified corrective action

Who can apply

• B.E./B.Tech in Metallurgy, Materials Science or Mechanical Engineering from a recognised university
• 0–2 years of experience in an engineering, plant or quality function — freshers and 2026 graduates are welcome
• Working knowledge of Metallurgy, Metallography, Microstructure Analysis
• Comfort with metallography, hardness and spectrometry equipment, and with reading and working to a drawing or specification
• Ability to read an engineering drawing, follow a standard, and explain a technical result clearly to production or the customer
• Attention to detail, ownership and the discipline to document your work
• Based in Pune, Maharashtra or willing to relocate (remote candidates across India may also apply)
