What you'll do

• Consulting and requirement discovery: Engage with customers to understand business goals, technical requirements, pain points, success criteria, and current-state architecture. Conduct discovery workshops, gather inputs from business and technical stakeholders, and translate needs into clear implementation scope and recommendations.
• Solution design and roadmap: Recommend solution architecture, implementation approach, phasing, and best practices aligned to customer objectives. Design data models, data flows, segmentation logic, personalisation rules, journey patterns, and integration touchpoints.
• Adobe Journey Optimizer delivery: Implement and configure journey orchestration, events, triggers, conditions, wait logic, automations, custom actions, messages, and offers in Adobe Journey Optimizer. Ensure journeys are scalable, testable, maintainable, and aligned to approved business use cases.
• Offer and experience decisioning: Configure and implement AJO decisioning capabilities including decision items, offers, collections, eligibility rules, ranking logic, placements, and decision policies to deliver relevant content and offers across channels.
• Web, in-app, and code-based experiences: Design and implement personalised web, in-app, content card, push, email, SMS, and code-based experiences using AJO, AEP data, Web SDK, Mobile SDK, Edge Network patterns, HTML, CSS, and personalisation syntax where applicable.
• Content personalisation and experimentation: Build personalised content experiences using fragments, templates, dynamic content, contextual attributes, profile data, audience rules, and decisioning outcomes. Support experiments, testing, and optimisation to improve engagement and customer experience.
• Data engineering and integration: Design, build, and optimise data ingestion flows from CRM, web, mobile, file-based, and external systems into AEP. Ensure data moves accurately and reliably across source systems, journeys, destinations, and reporting use cases.
• Data modelling, segmentation, and identity: Design and implement XDM schemas, datasets, identity mappings, profile attributes, audience rules, joins, filters, aggregates, and segmentation logic using SQL and data modelling best practices.
• Customisation and API development: Develop custom scripts, extensions, custom actions, and API first integrations using JavaScript, SQL, Python, and REST APIs. Validate integrations, payloads, authentication, and error handling using Postman or similar tools.
• Troubleshooting and optimisation: Diagnose, debug, and resolve technical issues across data ingestion, identity, APIs, schemas, audiences, journeys, content rendering, delivery, synchronisation, and performance. Proactively optimise implementations for reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.

Who can apply

• Adobe Journey Optimizer implementation: Hands-on experience delivering AJO solutions including journey orchestration, event triggers, conditions, wait logic, automations, custom actions, messages, offer decisioning, and channel configurations across email, push, SMS, in-app, and web.
• Adobe Experience Platform expertise: Deep working knowledge of AEP services including Real-Time Customer Profile, Identity Service, XDM schema design, source connectors, datasets, audience segmentation (rule-based and AI/ML), and destination configuration.
• Data modelling and XDM: Strong ability to design and implement Experience Data Model (XDM) schemas for multi-channel marketing use cases. Ability to map source-system fields to XDM, define identity namespaces, and model profile and experience event data correctly.
• SQL and data querying: Strong SQL proficiency for querying datasets, writing complex joins and aggregates, applying filter conditions, transforming data, and working within AEP Data Distiller or similar query environments.
• API development and integration: Hands-on experience integrating with AEP and AJO REST APIs, designing custom actions, configuring webhooks, working with JSON payloads, managing OAuth or IMS authentication, and validating with Postman or similar tooling.
• JavaScript and scripting: Proficiency in JavaScript for personalization logic, API calls, and custom scripting within AJO and AEP. Comfort with HTML and CSS for email and web experience rendering.
• Segmentation and audience design: Practical experience creating and validating rule-based segments, computed attributes, AI/ML-powered audiences, and multi-channel activation strategies
• grounded in profile and behavioural data.
• Customer communication and advisory: Ability to engage enterprise customers independently, articulate solution recommendations clearly, lead discovery workshops, and present technical designs to both technical and business stakeholders with confidence.
• Basic AI and agentic skills: Working understanding of AI-assisted delivery, prompt engineering, agentic workflows, and responsible use of AI tools to improve discovery, documentation, testing, troubleshooting, and implementation productivity.
