What you'll do

• Safety Management
• Implement the company's EHS policies, procedures and safety standards at the plant.
• Conduct regular workplace safety inspections and identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.
• Carry out Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) and recommend appropriate control measures.
• Monitor compliance with safety procedures across production, maintenance, warehouse, utility and other plant areas.
• Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by employees and contract workers.
• Conduct safety audits and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
• - Statutory Compliance.
• Ensure compliance with applicable provisions of the Factories Act/Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions requirements, applicable state rules
• - Implement and monitor the Permit-to-Work (PTW) system.
