What you'll do

• At Sauce, we will commit to supporting the health and safety of employees and properties, partnering with internal stakeholders to learn and act on ever-evolving security protocols and procedures. You’ll be expected to fully comply with all policies and procedures related to security at the department and org wide level and exercise a ‘security first’ approach to how we design, build & run our products and services.

Who can apply

• Deep fluency in at least one modern general-purpose language—and the ability to pick up others quickly. We work across TypeScript/Node, Go, and Python, and you’ll touch more than one. We care far more that you know one language inside out—its type system, concurrency model, testing story, etc.—than that you’ve used our specific stack. An ideal candidate would be comfortable:
• Reading and modifying an unfamiliar codebase without a guided tour
• Writing and maintaining tests that hold up in CI, not just on your laptop
• Publishing and versioning something other people depend on — a CLI, an SDK, a package
• Debugging across a boundary you don’t own (a third-party API, someone else’s service, a CI runner)
