What you'll do

• Ecommerce Solution Design & Development
• Leads the technical design and delivery of the ecommerce solution within the WordPress environment, including catalog, checkout, payment processing integration, and custom purchase and fulfillment workflows.
• Architects and develops custom WordPress plugins, themes, and extensions to deliver business functionality that is not available through existing solutions.
• Designs and builds integrations between the WordPress environment and internal systems and third-party services, including API design and data modeling.
• Translates business and compliance requirements provided by internal stakeholders into technical designs, and implements them so that the resulting behavior is testable and auditable.
• Platform Development & Maintenance
• Designs, develops, and tests software to resolve defects and implement user stories.
• Maintains and updates the existing codebase to address technical debt and legacy code; identifies areas of the system that require updating and writes user stories as appropriate.
• Evaluates and recommends tools, technologies, and processes for software development, including alternative platforms where the current approach will not meet requirements.
• Technical Leadership & Collaboration
