What you'll do

• "Mechanical Engineer to support product specification, design, implementation, testing for Eaton’s Medium Voltage LIPE products. We are looking for motivated and passionate professional with experience in Medium voltage product design, 3D inventor, Creo, Enovia, leveraging Analysis first approach. He/She should support in complex PreLaunch and ProLaunch NPI projects. He/She should also design production while optimizing the product cost and must have strong skills in CAD modeling.
• Success in this position requires the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment, strong motivation for pursuing project objectives and the ability to learn new techniques and development processes. Problem solvers who are excited about learning new technologies, understand and develop actions to increase maturity, work with team members for concept generation, detailed design and industrialization activities
• "• System/ sub-system component sizing, modeling and simulation to meet customer requirements and IEEE standards, especially with short time current, electromagnetic, thermal and structural requirements
• Work with Leads to perform design calculations, quick proto trials and documenting lessons learnt
• Prepare CAD models, 2D drawings, BoM and document release in SAP, Enovia through ECR process
• Research, review, and implement best-practices, new and emerging technologies, and design patterns to new and existing development
• Maintain and enhance technical proficiency in mechanical engineering related development environments, processes, and tools
• Plan and manage development work to achieve on-time delivery of NPD / VAVE, features and enhancements
• Coordinate and collaborate with product owners, leads, design, simulation, reliability, marketing and manufacturing development teams to produce engineering designs and specifications for new features and enhancements
• Identify, communicate, and mitigate risks as they arise during development

Who can apply

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in engineering in Mechanical
• Minimum of 1+ years of experience in medium voltage product development is desired
