What you'll do
- As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and modernizing applications that support DTCC's Financial Risk Management platform. This hands-on engineering role focuses on building scalable, high-performance, cloud-native solutions that power analytical and reporting capabilities for internal and external clients.
- You will help advance DTCC's cloud modernization strategy by improving application scalability, resiliency, automation, and operational efficiency. Working across the full software development lifecycle, you will partner with architects, product owners, and engineering leaders to deliver secure, reliable, and business-critical solutions.
Who can apply
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent practical experience
- 6-9 years of software engineering experience developing enterprise applications.
- Talent Needed for Success
- Strong expertise in Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architectures.
- Hands-on experience developing cloud-native applications using AWS.
- Experience with OpenShift Container Platform (OCP), Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud deployment architectures.
- Strong experience with Snowflake or large-scale data warehouse platforms, including database-driven application development.
- Experience with Oracle, SQL development, data modeling, and query optimization.
- Experience with Apache Kafka, Confluent Kafka, or event-driven architectures.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, messaging patterns, and asynchronous processing.
