Mobile Engineer — React Native Intern

About this internship

SuperKalam (YC W23) is looking for a Mobile Engineer (React Native) Intern who has already built high-quality, production-grade mobile apps and thrives in a high-pace, ownership-driven environment. This is a remote, full-time internship (Bengaluru preferred) where you will build polished features from scratch within a small, lean team that values smooth communication, ownership and agility. You will craft amazing UI layouts and smooth animations, work with native Android development including writing bridges, and ship features end-to-end. A strong grasp of JavaScript/TypeScript, SOLID principles and code quality is essential. Bonus points if you have shipped push notifications, persistent notifications, widgets, Meta ad integrations, or worked on personalisation and gamification-based apps.

Skills you'll use

What you'll do

• Build high-quality mobile features from scratch in a lean team
• Craft polished UI layouts and smooth animations in React Native
• Write native Android bridges and integrate native modules
• Maintain high code quality following SOLID principles
• Take end-to-end ownership with smooth communication and agility

Who can apply

• Prior React Native internship experience (at least 4+ months)
• Previously built high-quality mobile apps in production with React Native
• Solid understanding of JS/TS, SOLID principles and code quality
• Ability to build amazing UI layouts and smooth animations
• Good understanding of native Android development including writing bridges
• Bonus: push/persistent notifications, widgets, Meta ad integration, gamification, PostgreSQL, rate limiting and security basics
