About this internship

Sibz Solutions, an offshore web-development company based in Pune since 2000 with 2,000+ global clients, is hiring a PHP Yii Developer as part of a major expansion. This is a full-time role for committed developers eager to master new-age technologies and deliver high-quality work with minimal supervision. You will develop and customize websites and web applications in core PHP and MVC, primarily using the Yii framework, and manage open-source-based applications. You should be hands-on with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, Bootstrap, JSON, APIs and mod-rewrite; write, test and deploy clean, bug-free code on time; and optimize code, queries, functions and MySQL databases for performance. Strong OOP, RDBMS, database design and normalization skills are essential, and exposure to Laravel, CakePHP, WordPress, Drupal, Joomla or Magento is a plus.

• Develop and customize websites/web apps in core PHP and MVC (Yii framework)

• Write, test and deploy clean, bug-free code on time
• Optimize code, queries, functions and MySQL databases for performance
• Apply strong OOP and sound relational database design & normalization

Who can apply

• Minimum 1 year (up to 5 years) hands-on PHP experience with the Yii framework / MVC
• Working exposure to HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, Bootstrap, JSON and APIs
• Strong OOP, RDBMS, database design and normalization skills
• Ability to deliver independently with minimal inputs
• Plus: Laravel, CakePHP, WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, Magento or OSCommerce
