KPIT Technologies is hiring a API / Backend Engineer Intern in Pune (Bavdhan) — a verified software development internship for 2026 freshers and final-year students (0–1 years of experience). You will work on real software engineering projects using Docker, MongoDB, TypeScript alongside experienced mentors, writing clean, tested and production-ready code. This is a 6-month hybrid (Pune + remote) programme with a stipend of ₹21,500 /month. A great launchpad to build a career in software development in Pune. Skills you'll use

What you'll do

• Build, test and ship features on live software projects at KPIT Technologies
• Write clean, maintainable code using Docker, MongoDB, TypeScript, Java
• Participate in code reviews, debugging and documentation
• Collaborate with the engineering team in an agile environment
• Apply feedback to deliver production-quality software

Who can apply

• Pursuing or recently completed B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc/BCA/MCA in Computer Science or a related field
• Working knowledge of Docker, MongoDB, TypeScript
• Strong fundamentals in Data Structures, Algorithms and OOP
• Familiarity with Git and basic problem-solving skills
• Good communication and eagerness to learn; based in or willing to relocate to Pune
