About this internship

Google is hiring Software Engineering Interns for Summer 2027 — a 10–12 week program starting May/June 2027, with preferred locations including Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Pune. As a Software Engineering Intern you will help design, deploy and maintain the infrastructure behind Google’s large-scale, AI-integrated systems, working on a dynamic team and applying your computer-science knowledge to real-world challenges. You will develop scalable engineering solutions for Google products, collaborate across teams, analyse information to choose the best solutions, and contribute to high-performance applications. Minimum qualifications: currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s or Dual degree in Computer Science or a related technical field; experience with distributed systems, concurrency, multi-threading or synchronization; one or more general-purpose languages (Java, C/C++, Python, JavaScript, Go); and data structures, algorithms and software design. Being in your penultimate year and experience in AI/ML, compilers, databases, networking or systems are preferred. Applications close by 28 June 2026.
