What you'll do

• Understand the product and manufacturing process of BIW , Closures , aggregates, and subsystems and modules of a car
• Engineering of the production line to achieve required automation, Speed (JPH) and quality at par with OEMs etc.
• Understand the product design ( read & refer in CAD/PLM environment)
• Visualise the process of manufacturing (machining / welding /assembling/drilling/revitting/gluing/filling etc.)
• Understand the planned process No of operations , cells, kind of machinery, robots , fixturing etc.
• Make a modification to the process if needed and as needed , prepare documentation to get approval from Client.
• Ability to understand Robotics and automation typically employed in a car plant.
• Visual material movement, QA QC stations processes and their requirements.

Who can apply

• Contribute technically to identifying the vendors and carryout techno commercial discussions for procurement
• Receive the equipment and work in installations commissioning , trial runs etc.
• Able to work with CAD packages like NX, Catia & ACAD.
• Able to contribute to making proposal layouts and evaluate proposal layouts made by others (mostly using ACAD)
• Excellent in written and spoken English.
• Should be experienced and confident to speak and discuss technically with cross functional teams, end customer (car company), procurement team and all system suppliers globally.
• Conversant with CAD, PLM, MS office and Project management tools.
• A pool of 10+ engineers will be deputed at client location in Europe for 3months for in depth understanding of the project, collective targets and quality expectations and individual roles and expectations .
