What you'll do

Build and test software features end to end, from design through to production release
Analyse requirements and contribute to technical designs and design documentation
Debug and troubleshoot issues in both development and live production environments
Work on scaling, reliability and performance of large, long-lived systems
Write and maintain automated tests and contribute to CI/CD pipelines
Collaborate with engineering, quality, design and product teams across time zones
Follow secure coding standards and established software development practices
Take part in Agile ceremonies — sprint planning, stand-ups, demos and retrospectives

Who can apply

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (CS, IT, ECE, EEE or related) — 2026 graduating batch
0 years of experience — fresh graduates can apply
Basic but solid knowledge of software-engineering concepts: data structures, algorithms, OOP, OS
Ability to write, test and debug code in at least one language (Java, Python, C++, C or Go)
Exposure to current technologies through coursework, academic projects or internships
Familiarity with Agile ways of working and the software development lifecycle
Awareness of secure coding practices and why they matter in shipped software
Comfort with version control (Git) and reading an unfamiliar codebase
Clear written and verbal communication for design docs and cross-team collaboration
Willingness to work hybrid from a Cisco India engineering site
