UI/UX Designer Intern

About this internship

BrainoidTech is looking for a creative, motivated UI/UX Designer Intern to join its team in Pune. This 6-month, on-site internship is an excellent opportunity for students, recent graduates and aspiring designers to gain hands-on experience designing websites, web applications and mobile apps on real client projects. You will work closely with the design and development teams to create intuitive, user-friendly and visually appealing experiences — building wireframes, mock-ups and prototypes, supporting interface design, and creating simple graphics, icons and visual assets. You will research competitors and design trends, maintain consistency through style guides and design systems, apply responsive-design principles across devices, and collaborate with developers and project managers to turn requirements into polished UI. It's a chance to learn real-world UI/UX workflows end to end — from user-centred design and component-based systems to professional project delivery — while building a portfolio of live work.

Skills you'll use

What you'll do

• Create wireframes, mock-ups and prototypes for web and mobile apps
• Support the team in designing user-friendly, appealing interfaces
• Research competitors, design trends and UX best practices
• Maintain design consistency using style guides and design systems
• Create simple graphics, icons and visual assets
• Apply responsive design principles across devices and screen sizes

Who can apply

• Pursuing or completed a degree/diploma in Design, CS, Multimedia, Visual Communication or related
• Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles
• Working knowledge of Adobe XD
• Understanding of typography, colour theory, layout and visual hierarchy
• Good communication, teamwork and attention to detail
