About Stable Money

Stable Money helps Indian consumers discover and invest in high-quality fixed-income products such as fixed deposits and recurring deposits. Indian household savings have historically sat in low-yield accounts or in deposits chosen by branch convenience rather than rate, and the company's proposition is to make the fixed-income market transparent and accessible: compare rates across institutions, open a deposit digitally, and manage it in one place. It reports crossing significant booking volumes since inception and is backed by institutional investors. Fixed income is an interesting sector to start a career in precisely because it is unglamorous and rigorous — the products are regulated, the customer is trusting the platform with savings rather than discretionary spend, and trust is won through clarity rather than marketing. The company is based in Bengaluru and runs lean teams across product, engineering, growth and research. For a market research intern, that means work that feeds directly into product and positioning decisions in a fast-moving category, with visibility of how a financial product is actually taken to market in India.

Expert Tips

  • Practice LeetCode easy and medium problems before the OA — focus on arrays, strings, trees, and graphs.
  • For system design, use the RESHADED framework: Requirements, Estimation, Storage, High-level design, APIs, Detailed design, Evaluation.
  • Prepare 3–4 STAR stories covering: a challenge you solved, a time you worked in a team, a project you owned end-to-end.
  • After every coding solution, proactively state the time and space complexity — interviewers expect it.
  • Study common CS fundamentals: process vs thread, TCP vs UDP, REST vs GraphQL, SQL indexing, CAP theorem.
