The Big Three consulting firms — McKinsey & Company, Boston Consulting Group (BCG), and Bain & Company — recruit top talent for Summer Associate and Analyst Consultant Intern roles, primarily targeting premier business schools (IIMs, ISB) and top engineering institutes (IITs, NITs). These are among India's most prestigious and highest-paying internships, with stipends exceeding ₹1,00,000/month. The Big Four (Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PwC) offer extensive corporate internships spanning Risk Advisory, Tax, Technology Consulting, and Financial Advisory, with a much larger intake. Applications typically open in October–January.
