How to apply for the Terralogic Software Engineering Internrole — step by step
Follow these 8 steps in order. The whole application takes about 15 minutes if your resume is ready, and it costs nothing.
Step 1: Open the official Terralogic listing
Use the Apply button on this page — it opens the role directly on terralogic.com/careers. Applying on the company’s own careers site is free and there is no agent or fee involved at any stage.
Step 2: Read the full job description before you fill anything in
Check the eligibility block carefully: degree discipline, passout batch, willingness to work from the Bengaluru office 5 days a week, and the 3-year employment agreement. Applying when you do not meet a stated condition only costs you the slot.
Step 3: Click "Apply Now" on the Terralogic page
The button opens Terralogic’s application form. Keep your resume ready as a PDF named like rahul-sharma-btech-cse-2026.pdf — recruiters open hundreds of files named resume.pdf.
Step 4: Fill the form with your real academic details
Enter your degree, branch, college, passout year and CGPA exactly as on your marksheet. The batch year is the first hard filter applied to this role, so an error here removes you from the shortlist automatically.
Step 5: Tailor your resume to the JD before uploading
Put a projects section on page one with the language and database you actually used, link your GitHub, and name the DSA topics you are comfortable with. Terralogic screens on programming fundamentals, so make those visible in the top third of the page.
Step 6: Submit, then save the confirmation
Screenshot or save the confirmation mail. It is your only reference if you need to follow up, and it carries the application ID.
Step 7: Prepare for an in-person interview in Bengaluru
Shortlisted candidates are called to the Terralogic Bengaluru office — the process is conducted in person, not over video. Plan travel and keep printed copies of your resume, marksheets and a photo ID.
Step 8: Revise the four evaluation areas
Candidates are assessed on technical knowledge, programming fundamentals, logical reasoning and communication. Revise arrays, strings, hashing, trees, sorting and SQL joins, and practise explaining your approach out loud.
Tips to actually get shortlisted
- Terralogic screens on fundamentals rather than framework trivia — solid DSA, DBMS, OS and networking answers matter more than a long list of tools.
- The interview is in person at the Bengaluru office. If you are applying from another city, factor travel into your decision before you accept an interview slot.
- The listing mentions a 3-year employment agreement. Read that clause properly and ask about the exact terms during the HR round — it is a fair question and a normal one to ask.
- Knowledge of AI/ML, cloud or modern web frameworks is listed as an added advantage, so a deployed project in any of those areas gives you a real edge.
- Recruitment dates on the official page can change between hiring waves. Always trust the live terralogic.com listing over any repost, including this one.
