What India's early-career talent market actually looks like — registrations, skills, cities, graduating batches, technologies and demand by role.
Every figure on this page is counted from our own candidate database. Nothing is modelled, projected or rounded up — where we cannot count something, we do not publish it.

Candidate counts per talent domain. A candidate can appear in more than one domain when their skills span both — these are pool sizes, not a partition of the total.
Declared by candidates on their own profiles. This is the supply side of the market — what employers ask for is a separate question.
Home city or stated preferred work location.
The batch mix is what campus teams plan a pipeline against.
Colleges with the most registered candidates, as entered by candidates themselves.
Engineering and management dominate, but the analytics and marketing pools draw far wider.
Population. Every figure counts registered candidate accounts on MyInternships.in that are not suspended. It does not include employers, scraped profiles or imported lists.
Skills, cities, colleges and degrees. Self-declared by candidates on their own profiles. We report them as entered, which is why the college and degree lists contain spelling variants — cleaning them would mean editing the underlying data.
Domain pools. A candidate belongs to a talent domain when their declared skills intersect that domain's skill set. Domains overlap by design: a candidate who lists Python and SQL appears in both the data analytics and data science pools. Pool sizes therefore do not sum to the total.
Activity. “Active in the last 90 days” means a recorded platform activity, or an account created, within that window.
Rounding. Headline figures are rounded down to a clean number, so every published figure is conservative. Detailed tables show exact counts.
Refresh. All figures are recomputed every six hours from the live database.
What this report is not. It measures the talent registered with us, not the whole of India's early-career workforce. It is a supply picture of one platform — useful for sizing a pipeline, not a national census.
Tell us the roles you are hiring for and we will send the report together with the pool figures that matter for your requirement — the domains, cities and batches you named, not a generic PDF.
