- General stream: master's degree in any discipline, or bachelor's in law/engineering, or CA/CS/CMA/CFA.
- Research: master's in Economics/Statistics/Econometrics or related; Actuary: relevant actuarial qualification; Rajbhasha: master's in Hindi with English as a subject (or vice versa).
- Maximum age 30 years as on 31 July 2026 with relaxation for reserved categories.
