Age limit: As per the JNVST 2027-28 prospectus for the Class 6 entry
- The candidate must be studying in Class 5 during the 2026-27 session in a government or government-recognised school.
- The student must have studied and passed Classes 3, 4 and 5 from a school in the same district where the JNV is located.
- Rural candidates must have studied Classes 3 to 5 in a rural-area school to claim the 75% rural quota.
